What is Microshading? Eyebrow microshading utilizes a stippling technique to achieve a soft, shaded effect. The technique involves depositing pigment in a gentle, stippling motion, creating a soft, powdered effect that blends seamlessly with your skin.

How does lash line enhancement work?

The procedure begins with an experienced technician who uses a specialized machine to apply the pigment. Before starting, we take utmost care to sanitize the area and apply a numbing cream to minimize discomfort. Each step of the process is carried out meticulously, ensuring you have a comfortable and stress-free , pain free experience .

Your appointment typically lasts 1.5 hours and begins with thoroughly cleansing your eyes then applies a specialized numbing cream along above lash line while your eyes remain closed for about 20 minutes. The anesthetics are carefully pH balanced to prioritize safety for your delicate eye area.

During your procedure, you keep your eyes closed while we exert slight pressure on your eyelids, positioning fingers along your lash line. This method guarantees precise placement of the pigment, ensuring accuracy and preventing any movement due to blinking. 

With expert control, we utilizes a digital machine to implant the pigment meticulously. This process is repeated for both eyes and is followed up with cleansing the area thoroughly. 

The last step involves applying lubricating eye drops to ensure your eyes remain hydrated and comfortable post-treatment.

 

* How long does it last ? : The results of this procedure can last between three to five years, contingent on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare regimen

 

* Eyeliner after - care & benefits : Following the procedure, it is common to experience minor swelling. This typically subsides within a day or two. As such, we advise our clients to plan not to wear contact lenses for one to two days after the procedure. the results are long-lasting and fuss-free, giving you one less thing to worry about in your day. While permanent eyeliner doesn't eliminate the need for makeup entirely, it allows you to start each day with beautifully defined eyes.

Immediate Pre-Appointment Restrictions and Guidelines for PMU appointments

As your appointment nears, adhere to specific measures to ensure optimal skin condition:

• Botox and Fillers: Schedule these treatments at least one month before or after your microshading session.

• Exfoliants and Skin Procedures: Avoid products like AHAs, BHAs, and retinoids around the brows for two weeks prior. Also, abstain from intensive facial treatments.

• Brow Maintenance: Do not wax, thread, or tweeze your eyebrows 1-2 weeks before your appointment.

• Avoid Tanning: Refrain from sunbathing and sunbeds one week before your session.

• Self-Check: Evaluate your health 2-3 days before your appointment. Notify us if you notice any concerns or experience illness symptoms.

• Alcohol, Cannabis, and CBD: Avoid these for 24-48 hours before your session.

• Medications and Supplements: If on blood-thinning medications, consult your doctor. Avoid aspirin and ibuprofen 3 days before, and limit certain supplements.

• Hydration and Moisturization: Keep skin moisturized. On the day, ensure the brow area isn't excessively moisturized.

• Day of Appointment: Feel free to wear your everyday makeup.

• Pregnancy and Nursing: Microshading procedures are discouraged for those pregnant or nursing

• Medical Conditions & Medications: If you have questions about specific medical conditions or medications, consult your microshading technician or a healthcare expert. 

 

Aftercare and Healing

Proper aftercare is crucial for the healing and longevity of your microshaded eyebrows. Following the procedure, you will be provided with detailed instructions on how to care for your brows during the healing process. Here are some general aftercare guidelines:

 

• Avoid touching or scratching the treated area to prevent infection or pigment loss.

• Apply a thin layer of the provided aftercare ointment with clean hands or a cotton swab, as instructed by your technician.

• Avoid excessive sweating, swimming, or exposure to direct sunlight for at least 2 weeks.

• Avoid applying makeup or skincare products directly on the treated area until it has fully healed.

• Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs during the healing period.

• Be patient and allow the brows to go through the healing process. The final results will gradually emerge over the following weeks.
